No. Dr. Jeter’s practice focuses on injuries of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow and sports injuries. However, if you are uncertain whether your injury is treated by Dr. Jeter or would like a referral to another physician, feel free to contact our office and we would be happy to assist you.
Dr. Jeter has contracted with a number of PPO plans. However, due to the fluidity of insurance plans, it is ultimately your responsibility to verify that we are current members of your plan. Typically, Dr. Jeter will be able to schedule your appointment approximately one week from the time that you contact his office. They will work with you to ensure that your injury is treated in a timely and appropriate manner.
In the event that Dr. Jeter recommends surgery for you, the office will handle all of the scheduling and required authorizations. The office manager will keep you up to date prior to your surgery and will follow up with you following surgery as needed. Dr. Jeter will also provide you with any necessary pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Dr. Jeter works with local outpatient surgery centers: Silicon Valley Surgery Center including its affiliate, Bascom Surgery Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Jeter’s office manager will let you know the location for your surgery once it has been scheduled. Yes. His office has state-of-the-art digital X-ray. X-rays taken in the office are immediately available and may be viewed in the treatment room by both you and Dr. Jeter.

In the event that physical therapy is required, Dr. Jeter’s office manager will select a facility that is convenient for you and provide you with all of the required information you need prior to your first appointment.
Please notify our office as soon as you know that you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment. We require at least 24 hours notice. In the event of an emergency on the day of your appointment, please call the office as soon as possible at (408) 559-4343. Dr. Jeter’s office manager will reschedule your appointment for the earliest available date.
